The sknife steak knife made of novel surgical steel has a four times higher corrosion resistance and a high hardness of 58 HRC. The knives as well as the steak forks are forged in Emmental and manufactured entirely by hand in the sknife knife manufactory in Biel. In Europe there are only 3 remaining manufacturer who produce forks in one piece. In Switzerland sknife is even the only one remaining. The knives and forks - with handles made of stabilized walnut or black coloured ash wood - are available in the specialist retail trade as well as in selected gourmet restaurants with over 500 Gault&Millau points in Switzerland as well as abroad.
