Basiq is a new ultra-compact POS system based on a powerful modular design, with fully integrated and easily detachable components that combine into six different models, offering smooth upgradability, exceptional versatility, and functionality. Basiq’s advanced modularity makes it able to effortlessly grow in a gradual scale of complexity from entry-level to top-of-the-range, responding to the present and future specific needs of retailers while ensuring ease of use throughout. The heart of Basiq is the built-in high-speed receipt printer, featuring the world’s first automatic rotary door, which allows for easy paper loading and supports Basiq’s ultra-compact size. All parts are fully integrated (mid- and top-range configurations) to allow installation in space-constrained places. With a very small footprint, Basiq is equipped with a 1D and 2D barcode reader, an infrared money detector, a digital payment terminal, and a superior 10-finger multitouch capacitive touch screen with IPS industrial technology and gesture capability. The screen surface is a strong, anti-scratch, true-flat glass. The double TFT graphic color display (service display and customer display) introduces colors in place of a standard monochrome screen. The wide rear display gives customers a clear view of transactions and shows QR codes for quick digital payments. Moreover, the rich variety of ports (USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth® Low Energy Long Range) offers full flexibility for adding other peripherals. Basiq is connected to Labware Cloud, which permits advanced reporting and the execution of marketing actions such as special offers, loyalty programs, customer satisfaction surveys, and promotions, which can be easily set up and dynamically rolled out.
