Connected. Intelligent. Illuminating. Our goal was to design a solution that will stand as an icon for Compass; empowering agents, while providing a rich and intuitive experience for the user. Together with Compass, we worked to define how the thoughtful use of technology and design can transform the real estate sign into something more immersive; creating a portal into the home in harmony with your mobile device. This meant reconsidering versatility and security, enabling the sign to work as effectively in a big city as it does in a suburb. The modular system includes a light ring, configurable printed sign, tech module, and various mounting solutions designed for any environment. The self-sufficient sign comes with a smart battery that allows the sign to be quickly installed and easily maintained. The sign utilizes recycled materials, built to be easily disassembled, reused and recycled. The Sign is a hub of information and interactions related to a home for sale that seamlessly connects with the Compass app. Having the app on your phone when you pass by will beacon a notification to your phone, offering more information about the home you're near. The Sign utilizes Bluetooth and Beacon technology in harmony with proximity sensors, so consumers will be able to see data where the Compass sign is utilized, such as foot and noise traffic, light levels, neighborhood facts, and more.
