KALLISTA introduced a new butler/entertainment and kitchen apron front sink to its Bacifiore stainless steel collection, part of the successful chef-inspired kitchen sinks by internationally known interior and product designer, Mick De Giulio.

Joining the KALLISTA under-counter Bacifiore collection of kitchen and bathroom sinks are the Bacifiore 24-inch and 30-inch apron front butler/entertainment sink and 36-inch apron front kitchen sink, expertly crafted from polished distressed stainless steel. Renowned for his thoughtful, sophisticated approach to kitchen environments, De Giulio brings his expertise, attention to detail, and love of materials to KALLISTA once again with the addition to his kitchen sinks collection. 

“This latest Bacifiore design provide elements of sculpture, craft and visual texture that can meld with many design vocabularies,” said De Giulio. “The polished and hand-hammered finish is clean and elegant. It can be used anywhere but I see it working well in a back kitchen or butler’s pantry where a unique or statement piece is desired.” 

With a career that has spanned over three decades, Chicago-based De Giulio began his lifelong love of design when he was still in his teens, learning the intricacies of good design while working in his father’s cupola shop, designing his first kitchen at 19 years old. His designs have won numerous awards and have been featured in numerous national and international magazines. 

The Bacifiore 24-inch and 30-inch apron front sinks are appropriately scaled to accommodate a smaller footprint within the kitchen, while the 36-inch design is perfect for larger spaces. De Giulio selected stainless steel for all his KALLISTA kitchen sinks, finding it a versatile and timeless choice with strong functional and robust properties so important when designing kitchen interiors.
