The dial crafted in black aventurine completes the picture.

The origins of this material date back to early 17th century Murano. It is the result of a lucky mistake, when a glassmaker dropped copper filings into molten glass that was slowly cooled – hence its commonly used name, aventurine, from the Italian all'avventura, meaning ‘by chance’.
The black aventurine adorning the Ad Astra watch has been acquired and carefully preserved for more than 50 years by the father of Daniel Haas.
The Haas family has been a pioneer in the sourcing and cutting of natural stone dials for two generations.
The countless sparkles of its particles resemble gold spangles, shining like stars against the glittering sky backdrop.
