[Cut-kun]Package 2019

Wonder Festival, a garage kit festival, mobilizes about 50,000 people a day. We were in charge of the package design for the official goods “Cut-Kun” soft vinyl figure made by KAIYODO that a major figures and garage kits manufacturer in Japan.

This festival was held in Shanghai in 2019 and became a big topic. It will also be held next April.

This was the first appearance of Cut-kun, so we aimed to make the appearance impressive and get attention from the surroundings.

We decided the direction of the package so that it could be carried around at the event venue and designed a holder-type package using the figure shape. And in order to raise expectations of the launch, we gave a mosaic to the face.

As a result, 200 limited editions sold out in a day, and it became a hot topic among fans. There was also a cosplay zone at the Wonder Festival venue, and popular cosplayers took our package in her hand.
