Overview
The Intuitive Design System is a foundational language comprised of design components and guidelines within a shared library. The system serves a wide range of designers creating products and services for healthcare professionals in demanding working environments.

The Design System aims to support healthcare institutions Quadruple Aim alignment – a framework for healthcare delivery that calls for better patient outcomes, lower total cost of care, improved clinician experience, and improved patient experience.

Impact & Singularity
The Intuitive Design System’s main objective is to elevate design in the health technology industry.

Feasibility
The Intuitive Design System allows design to be managed at scale by providing foundational components that can be re-used in various combinations.

Social responsibility & Inclusiveness
We believe digital experiences should be accessible for everyone. Visual impairments can include low vision and color blindness. We strive to develop experiences that accommodate all users, regardless of vision, hearing, or other physical deficiencies.

Key Features
Dark-themed user interfaces to minimize ambient light levels in dimly lit operating rooms; monospaced typeface to reduce visual complexity while displaying fluctuating data points; and system sounds at specific frequencies to help distinguish them in crowded sonic landscapes.
