Mira’s Flight Level Tray delivers the elegance of a wetroom without the expense. Considered installation details create a seamless aesthetic from tile to shower.
Available in three finishes, White, Antislip, and Slate, across, square, rectangle and quadrant shapes.
The integrated side waste allows full standing space. The top access waste makes cleaning and maintenance simple and fast. The design, with its innovative honeycomb back and minimal 25mm profile, reduces weight whilst adding strength, benefitting logistics and installation.
Each tray incorporates an antimicrobial additive, reducing bacteria and mould growth by up to 99.9%.
Firstly, to maximise the standing area and subordinate the visual impact of the waste through integration into the perimeter of the tray –notionally a hidden or discreet waste.
Secondly, to create an equivalent to a wetroom through the conventional installation of a tray.
Finally, to provide level or low access to showering for both ergonomic and aesthetic reasons.
This beautiful tray speaks to minimalist design principles and contemporary style evoking natural simplicity with an element of surprise regarding position and detailing of the waste.
The deviation from typical shower tray paradigms and enhanced practicality encourages a strong emotional user response in use.
The tray has been manufactured to the limits of the processes involved to guarantee repetition of the detailing and signature elements across all sizes and shapes to create a consistent family.
Ease of access either by a level floor or a step up of only 25mm, an anti-slip coating for extra safety, an antimicrobial additive to reduce bacteria and mould growth, a waste, with an easily removable trap and hair catcher to help prevent blockages, and a draining performance of up to 40 liters per minute at 15mm head height make for a compelling all-round solution.
The Slate effect finish, which has been reproduced by scanning a block of quarried slate for authenticity, is a balance between feeling the detail underfoot and allowing the water to drain freely.
Structurally the rear honeycomb provides the strength required for a 25mm tray as well as removing weight to support the installation process.
Weight reduction per tray of up to 6.7% reduces the contribution of manufacturing and logistics pollution and benefits the wellbeing of the installer.
