Building on its proud heritage, Coleman has modernized and expanded the Steel Belted Cooler lineup from a single SKU to a family of three. Its Next Generation Coleman Steel Belted Cooler Family is designed for social events ranging from an evening for two on the beach to a gathering of friends on a hot summer day.

Each of the three coolers is sized and crafted to fit the event. Premium in presentation and materials, Next Generation Coolers rise to the occasion and last a lifetime. After a careful study of how people use coolers in their lives, the design team created the perfect-sized premium cooler for any activity. Now, three Steel Belted coolers allow for a premium tailored experience every time.

From the ultra-secure and easy-to-latch lid to the integrated bottle opener and improved ergonomics and feel of the handles, the team upgraded every point of interaction to provide an exceptional user experience. Finally, the incorporation of premium materials and finishes elevates the user experience into something truly magical. The design team focused on a variety of social and recreational activities to help inform the size of each vessel, to ensure they fit their intended use.

The 11-quart cooler serves more intimate occasions, such as a romantic evening under the stars or an outdoor concert. The 20-quart serves medium-sized groups and activities, such as a day at the beach with friends or a picnic at the park. The 54-quart handles larger events, including backyard barbeques and family camping trips. Touch points were carefully considered and designed for optimum interaction. The shoulder strap of the 11-quart allows for multiple carry positions at the perfect height-to-body ratio. The carry handles are sized appropriately for the shape and weight of the coolers, and the latch—easy to open and lock with one hand—gives both visual and haptic feedback that ensures the cooler is locked and secure for transport.
