Sharp presents Sharp Home application to provide a smarter home & life! The mobile application enables the connection between smart phones and the Sharp Smart Appliances with Wi-Fi communication. Today, smart houses offer us a very secure, practical, safe environment. Sharp smart home appliances are part of this smart environment and they are working with Sharp Home which is a mobile app and TV app developed for users to control and monitor their connected devices (e.g. washing machine) remotely anytime. This gives users freedom and a huge power because they always know about their home appliances with the help of notifications that Sharp Home send. With the new family account feature, different users in the same house can remotely control the same device and this brings the individuality feature to the community of the mobile application, creating a social investment opportunity to sell Sharp products to the enhanced consumer mass.

Thanks to the coherent designed interface and experience design, learning to use and control the newly added devices takes short time for users. The rich flow of monitoring data from smart products, coupled with the capacity to control product operation, allows user to optimize product performance in numerous ways. Combination of monitoring, controlling, and optimization capabilities, experiencing the smart products will allow user to achieve a previously unattainable level of autonomy. Architecture of Sharp Home mobile app supports to add new devices, functions and features with its flexible structure open to development.

Thanks to Sharp Home's meticulously created, flexible software and design architecture, the application easily adapts to new devices and features that will be added. The user’s existing device is kept available to development with the new features and programs that will be added to the application. At the same time, all features are made available to the usage of visually impaired users with VoiceOver and Talkback compatibility.

“Sharp Home” application has an easily understandable and usable UX / UI design and information architecture. Thanks to the application, remote commands can be given to the devices and the status of the devices can be learned. It provides convenience to the customer with its specialized functions such as Remote Control, Assistant and User Scenarios. Consistent UI and information architecture results in unified UX and enables users to control devices intuitively.

Sharp Home mobile app's interface is designed with the aim of easy understandable usage while considering Vestel smart devices' design style and today's aesthetic values. Control and configuration screens which are separately designed for each device group, provide user experience with simple and coherent visual architecture.
