In 2021, we were once again tasked with communicating the role of CLAAS as a pioneer of agricultural technology and therefore as an enabler of global nutrition. At the same time, the objective was also to pay tribute to the most influential CLAASian of all, Helmut Claas, within the scope of investor communication. With this in mind, we opted for the title Pushing Boundaries. What does this mean for CLAAS as a technological leader? Refusing to accept the status quo as the limit of what is possible. Finding new approaches. And never losing touch with your roots, regardless of how far you come. Helmut Claas, who passed away in 2021, lived by this ethos throughout his career as a pioneer of agricultural technology. And it remains a hallmark of the CLAAS brand to this day. We explore CLAAS innovations that will shape the future of the company – and how Helmut Claas laid the groundwork for these innovations by seeking to push back the limits of what is possible at an early stage. The stories, photo spreads and in-depth reports feature a wide variety of actors, including scientists, economists, CLAAS experts and, of course, farmers.
