Striations and Migrations BBT with Diamond 10 Technology coating deliver the perfect storm: a sustainable flooring solution combining biophilic design, reduced maintenance, and long-term performance. They were carefully curated as complementary collections – a sophisticated palette of organic tones coupled with modular installation options to provide optimum design flexibility for education, retail, health care and office spaces.
With Diamond 10 Technology coating, this bio-based tile delivers long-term performance. It’s a sustainable, PVC-free, low maintenance flooring solution with category-leading scratch, scuff and stain resistance. Diamond 10 Technology coating provides a durable layer of protection that reduces or eliminates initial application of polish and ongoing restorative stripping and recoating. This enables building owners to save up to 40% compared to the costs of traditional polished Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT) maintenance, and it also reduces the environmental impact related to stripping and recoating.
BBT was developed with bio-based, rapidly renewable materials. It has a low carbon footprint, with the main ingredient being 85% locally-quarried North American limestone.
With designs and colors inspired by nature, Striations and Migrations allow for design versatility, with seamless coordination between the collections. Color names between the two collections are a nod to the complementary palettes. Whether it’s Green Leaf and Lilly Pad, or Caribbean Sea and Seaside, there are a host of combinations to help designers create a beautiful biophilic design. As part of Continuum™ Solutions, these two collections can be paired with products across our portfolio for a cohesive look regardless of the flooring type that a space demands.
Migrations is available in 12”X12” tiles, and Striations is available in 12”X24” tiles. Like VCT, BBT offers long-life value, with a true through-pattern that can withstand heavy foot and rolling load traffic.
BBT contains no phthalates or heavy metals, and it includes 40% pre-consumer recycled content. BBT is FloorScore® certified; meets WELL® Building Standards requirements for Cleanability, VOC Reduction, Toxic Material Reduction and Material Transparency; meets requirements of LEED® V4 material credits; and qualifies for CHPS® Durable and Low Maintenance credit. It is recyclable through Armstrong Flooring’s On&On™ Floor Recycling Program.
