Julien Giammarchi, France

Julien Giammarchi, France

Julien is a French architect, graduated from the National School of Architecture in Grenoble. In 2022, he co-founded Collection Architectes together with Anaïs Buckinx, Bérengère Pasquier, Line Chamond, and Martina Shileva - a multidisciplinary architecture studio based in the French Alps.

After working for over 10 years on exceptional sites throughout France and abroad, the studio’s founders have developed complementary skills to serve a common goal: creating an alchemy between architecture and landscape. As head of design, Julien develops a radical and sensitive architectural language inspired by the intelligence of each site.

His creativity, combined with his experience in project management, asserts Collection's distinctive identity - from the first sketches right through to the execution of the projects.

Collection aspires to ensure that every project is firmly rooted in its context, fostering a creative practice at the crossroads of architecture and landscape. This approach, which has become a methodology, allows the studio to embody a desire for architectural innovation and today spans a wide range of scales and emblematic projects.
