OH!SOM architects

Graduated from the ENSA Marseille in 2009, Baptiste Franceschi founded, in Marseille, the OH!SOM architects company with Stéphanie Franceschi, Marie Fade, and Caroline Mangin in 2013. The following year, they are nominated for the « Equerre d’argent » prize among the « Première œuvre » category, with their forest fire watch project.

The company is then choosen to be part of the selection of AJAP 2016 (album of young architects and landscapers), and then gets nominated for the « Equerre d’argent « prize among the Habitat category in 2018 with their 95 social housings project in « La Duranne-Aix-en-Provence ».

Through his projects, Baptiste Franceschi militates for a suitable and evolving architecture, that is receptive to its time and its usages. Every single project is an opportunity to develop an honest and sensitive process concerning the use of raw and adapted materials.

Committed to environmental quality, he conceptualizes with his partners each of their projects around this issue. Social housing and schools account for the actual main part of their work in which they promote a participative and sustainable approach.
